A nice holiday in a peaceful residence in the Tuscan countryside, lying 2 km from the seaside and the Natural Park in Rimigliano.
The apartments of the “older” part originate from the accurate restoration of the houses belonging to a Maremma farm; the buildings have been completely renovated in order to create modern and comfortable apartments, utilizing traditional materials of the Tuscan farmhouses, like wooden beams and frames and floors done in terracotta tiles.

The life of Ghiacci Vecchi and its guests takes place inside its very big garden, where the typical plants of the Mediterranean maquis give shadow and coolness to grown-ups and children;
the guests can make use of the ample common areas, where tables, chairs and deck-chairs are provided together with swings, swimming pools and barbecues, in an ideal environment for children, who can be free and far from any danger, and for their parents who can also lose sight of them.
In the middle of the garden there are two swimming pools: a part of the largest one is not very deep and suitable for children; as for their mothers a good whirlpool is available for them to use

Ristorante Pizzeria La Loggetta, located at Residence Ghiacci Vecchi, welcomes you to taste typical Tuscan dishes and pizzas, as well as Val di Cornia’s DOC wines (registered designation of origin), an excellence of our area.

Our holiday park is the ideal starting point to explore the beauty of the Etruscan Coast. The beach of the Gulf of Baratti is one of the most beautiful in Tuscany and lies a few kilometers away from our facility, which makes it easily reachable on foot or by bike.
But the Etruscan Coast is not just sea and beaches.
Those who will decide to spend a holiday in this corner of Tuscany will have the chance to visit medieval towns of rare beauty, such as Populonia, Campiglia and Suvereto, as well as follow the Wine and Oil Road, visit renowned wineries and taste authentic, Tuscan food.

For families and kids
The residence offers a field for “calcetto” and table tennis, tennis courts and horse riding to sportspeople, as well as the possibility to practise jogging and nice excursions by bicycle. Slides, swings and other games for children are scattered around the garden, together with the tables, chairs and deck-chairs.
Barbecues can also be found in the garden, which at dinnertime provide inviting aromas.
Nearby there are the riding school and the tennis court.
